Winter blossoms

It’s technically winter, but if you just look at what’s blooming you’ll have difficulty guessing what season it is. Narcissus and dahlias at the same time? The impatiens and the red-hot pokers have been in bloom the entire time we’ve been here. The hebe, which was in bloom in November, has just started up again. But you’d probably rather see the flowers rather than read about them, so, without further ado:

Finally, not because they’re pretty but because I finally understand what Pooh fell into and why they hurt, are gorse bushes.
